Dollars Down Under Gaming Takes Off in Australia!

G'day mates!

If you ever find yourself in the Land Down Under, be sure to check out the vibrant and burgeoning gaming scene that is happening there! Melbourne in particular is a hotbed of development activity, with new indie studios sprouting up all the time.

One of the earliest adopters of gaming as an art form was Davey Wreden, creator of The Stanley Parable. His studio, Galactic Café, started releasing small, experimental games on Newgrounds in 2001. Flash games were immensely popular at the time, and Wreden was able to parlay his success into a full-time career in game development.

Nowadays, more and more people are getting into game development as a hobby or profession. For example, Matt Thorson (of TowerFall fame) started out making games in his bedroom as a teenager. And even larger studios are getting in on the action: Ubisoft has set up a studio in Melbourne called Ubisoft Australia, which is responsible for developing Rayman Legends and Trials Fusion.

What's fuelling this gaming renaissance Down Under? It could be anything from the laid-back Australian lifestyle to supportive governmental initiatives; whatever it is, there's no denying that Aussies love their games! So if you're ever planning on visiting our sunny shores, be sure to check out some of these amazing titles:

  • Stardew Valley (ConcernedApe) -Animal Crossing: New Leaf (Nintendo EAD Tokyo)
  • Hollow Knight (Team Cherry)
  • Night In The Woods (Infinite Fall)
  • Rocket League (Psyonix)

Winning at Dollars Down Under Casino

Australia is well-known for its casinos, with Sydney and Melbourne playing host to some of the most popular ones in the world. If you're looking to make some serious money while spending some time in this beautiful country, a trip to one of its many casinos is an absolute must.

There are all sorts of different games you can play at a casino in Australia, but blackjack is perhaps the best option if you're looking to make some quick and easy cash. This is a game that's relatively easy to understand and play, and one that offers relatively good odds for players who know what they're doing.

In blackjack, your aim is to beat the dealer by scoring higher than him without going over 21. You can do this by either hitting (taking another card) or standing (stopping where you are). The dealer has to hit on 16 or below and stand on 17 or above, so there's always the chance of beating him given the right circumstances.

If you're feeling confident, you can also increase your chances of winning by doubling down on certain hands. This basically means doubling your bet and then taking just one more card. You should only do this if you have a strong hand (10 or 11), as it's risky to do so otherwise.

Another great thing about blackjack is that there are plenty of variations of the game available at Australian casinos. So if you get bored of playing the standard version, be sure to check out some of the other ones on offer. These include pontoon, Spanish blackjack and super 7s blackjack, each of which offers its own set of challenges and opportunities.

While blackjack is definitely the go-to game when it comes to making money at an Australian casino, it's not your only option. Roulette is another great option, especially if you're looking for a bit more excitement in your gameplay. This game involves betting on whether a ball will land in a certain slot on a spinning wheel, with a number from 1-36 being the possible options.

There are a variety of bets you can make in roulette, with Inside bets referring to bets placed on specific numbers or groups of numbers, and Outside bets referring to simpler bets such as red or black, odd or even etc. You can also place combination bets for even more chances of winning big.

Whichever casino game you choose to play in Australia, be sure to do your research first so that you have as much chance as possible of coming out ahead. There's nothing quite like winning big money in a foreign country, so get out there and start gambling!
